The Marquette Core Curriculum seeks to provide students with a structured experience that will allow you to refine your own worldview and prepare you to address the world’s problems. CORE 1929 (Methods of Inquiry) is a bridge course, designed to help you move from the foundational tier of the MCC into the upper division courses of the Discovery tier. As you will learn over the course of the semester, there are a wide variety of ways in which we can approach any given topic or global issue. In order for Marquette students to become leaders in discovery and global problem solvers, they must be able to 1) identify significant questions to be asked of the world around them, and 2) understand how to employ a cross-disciplinary approach when seeking answers to those questions. Over the course of this semester we will use the issue of disability to help hone those two very important skills.
